Another Routine Week

I know it has been a while since my last post, but things have been moving along in a fairly routine manner at the Stressman household.

Scott is back to his old schedule at work, the boys are into both their school routines as well as baseball for Hunter and football for Parker. Trish continues to direct the Stressman orchestra keeping track of appointments, practices, games, and all the other family responsibilities. It really does seem like each day is getting shorter and fitting everything in is becoming more difficult. But then I guess this describes the challenges faced by most modern families.

Trish continues to fight with both her nerve pain and her muscle spasms, but is working constantly with her doctors to find ways to reduce the negative impact of these on her daily life. Each week she is spending more and more time on her own, and is gaining confidence in her ability to do everything around the house.

Trish & Scott are slowly making the changes in their home that are required to enable Trish to do everything she did before the accident. So, all in all, things are well.

Hi, Trish,

It was so nice to see you last week. The kids are all excited to see you this week at the ice cream social! It sounds like you are getting into a regular routine these days. I know how hard it is to keep track of everyone's schedule - isn't it crazy! Take care of yourself and keep up that great positive attitude. We think of you and your family very often.

I miss your Dad's BLOG comments. Tell him not to wait so long. I have nothing to read....
It was great to see you in the parking lot last week.
Keep up the hard work, however difficult it may be. You think the kids' schedules are busy now, just wait until those wonderful teen years.
Luv ya

Hi Trish,
How are you? I hope you are well. Things are going pretty good out here in CA. We've been trying to sell our house this summer, but it has not been easy.

We just decided yesterday to go back to Michigan for Christmas. I hope we'll be able to see you and the family soon. Your boys are growing up so fast.

Love,
Dave

Trish,
It sounds like you are managing each new trial with grace and determination. Congratulations! I hope you don't let yourself get discouraged. You are doing a fantastic job! Things have been extra hectic here and we have had tragedy strike a close family friend. It is too long a story to post here, whenever you feel up to it, you can call me and I can fill you in, or just email me.
Remember that we are all still cheering for you and wanting the best for you and your family.
I pray each day you are able to see your triumphs.

Hey Trish and Scott, hope everybody is doing good. I sure miss your dad keeping us updated on your progress. Please tell him I need a "Trish" update!!! I loved the article that was in the newspaper and I can't wait to see how much is raised at the fundraiser. Isn't it truly amazing how friends will come together to help one another!! I sure hope you and Scott can make the trip to Vegas this year. Take care and hopefully I will see you soon!!
