Trish & Scott had a fairly quiet weekend in St. Joseph's Neuro Rehabilitiation Center.
On Saturday only one PT session was scheduled and Sunday was a day of rest. So they had a chance to get caught up on some visits with family & friends, as well as spend a little more time together.
Today, Trish starts her routine all over again with a full week of rehab exercises. She told me that she was going to have a field trip this week where the rehab staff takes a group of patients out of the hospital for a visit to a local attraction. This will be Trish's first time out of St. Jospeh's since the accident over two weeks ago.

Trish,
Roger Smith (my peer at Intel) told me a little about what happened. As he may have told you, I was at St Joes recently myself for a broken L1 vertebrae. I know the nurses/OT/PT folks pretty well. Say hello to Charles, Melisa, Kristen, Kim(nurse). I am still on the road to recovery, but understand a bit of what you are going through. If you're interested, please let me know. I would be happy to visit you there as it would give me a chance to say hello to the staff as well. We can share some challenges and wins in the whole experience.
Best Regards, and good luck! Tom 602-295-3090. or email thomas.a.kvanvig@intel.com
